I have had to close this section for checking your mails since i got the below mail from Google themselves.
Dear Sir or Madam:
Google is the owner of the well-known trademark GMAIL, as well as the domain name GMAIL.COM. As you are no doubt aware, we use GMAIL to identify our webmail service. Since its introduction in 2004, Google's GMAIL service has received a great deal of publicity and has achieved significant renown. Google owns trademark registrations and applications for GMAIL in countries around the world.
We recently noticed that your website, http://technews.in/gmail-lite-0.10-beta-6/, uses a mark confusingly similar to GMAIL (GMAIL-LITE) and asks users to supply their GMAIL account login and password. We assume that you are doing this to spread support for our GMAIL product, rather than to illegally gather (or phish) for user information. We applaud your good intentions, but such a use is not permitted by us. This use threatens the security of our users' account information and also infringes upon our trademark rights. We do not allow third parties, no matter how well-intentioned, to ask for or to obtain our users' account information. Allowing external access to our users' account information increases the risk that users' accounts might be compromised and raises a host of security concerns.
We do not want to believe that you are trying to phish for our users' information, so we are writing to ask that you immediately and voluntarily discontinue asking for GMAIL user account information and any GMAIL mark or logo, including the GMAIL-LITE name you are currently using. Please respond to this email within 7 days. If we do not hear from you within that time, we reserve our rights to take the action necessary to protect our users' account information and our trademarks.
Regards,
The Google Trademark Enforcement Team
Sorry for the inconvinience, gmail-lite on this site has been PERMANENTLY discontinued.
