The much awaited P990i for the people in the UK is now here. The SE handset has allready been released in the USA 6 months earlier, but the company apparently had problems rolling out the phone for the UK consumers.
The handset ofcourse is a powerpacked one, but not such a big advancement to the P910i. Except that the striking factor for the P990i is the WiFi. It has a 262K color display and a 2Megapixel camera. The phone ofcourse has the same but upgraded Symbian OS, UIQ 3.0.
The phone is pretty expensive though and is going to hit you back approximately £460.00.

Motorola has come out yet agin with another special device. Yes, it is a portable mobile phone charger which uses the Usb interface. The Usb device is named the P970, and looks a lot like the ever so curvy Moto PEBL. You can plug this device to your PC or any other setup which has a Usb interface and it will charge itself. Later the P970 can be plugged into your Moto phone as a charger.
So handy isn't it ? It acts like a 1700mAh rechargeable battery ultimately. This is due to be launched in the 3rd Quater of 2006 and in different colors.

GoogleTalk is going to be added by Nokia in it's new Handsets which have internet browsing capabilities. At the moment they are planning to add this facility only to its Tablet technology and not a mobile phone. As everyone knows this would enable you to have voice conversations and exchange instant messages. This technology although relies on WiFi rather than telecom networks. Using this device you can call or message anyone having GT on their phones or such like devices. Customers will not be able to make calls to other landlines and mobile phones. This device is an upgrage from the old Nokia 770 Tablet edition, with more facilities such as GT and a better resolution, allowing to play audio/video files too. According to sources from Yahoo! this device would be available in the $3xx range. |
