Lets see another cool gadget you've never seen before! Yes the Mustek DV536, this is one type of a "super gadget". The Mustek DV536 Press release is on their site and i must say its quite impressive.
If you've had enough of the expensive iPods and the Sony digicams, this is going to be just your buy. The DV536 has a 10Megapixel camera, 10x zoom and video shooting at 30fps(yes FMV rate). Thats not all you can also record directly from your Tv. The gadget comes with a 2.4inch screen which isn't exactly fun to watch movies on but when you hear the price you won't mind it et al.
This comes for a low low price of $199.99,the Mustek DV536 is due to start shipping in early July.
Included in the pack: Camcorder, carrying bag, USB cable, Audio/Video cable, installation CD and software, rechargeable Li-Ion battery and a power adapter. Photo on the next page.. |

It is official now that Toshiba and Vongo have come together to roll out a new PMC. The Gigabeat S comes in two variants. The black and the white color also having 30GB and 60GB capacities.
Starz movie and song download is the main feature in this product. At $10/month this seems to be extremely good. The service is perfectly up and running at the moment. The price of the players is $300 and $600 for the 30 and 60gb capacities respectively. Ofcourse there are better deals to catch online.
Etailelectronics sells the 60Gb variant only at $361/-. So find your self a better buy somewhere. Is this the iPod killer, i doubt! But certainly a change from the usual stuff.

One more of the iPod competitors the MusicGremlin MG-100. The looks are of are pretty different and attractive too. This player has an inbuilt WiFi so you can transfer your songs to the computer just by networking it, no softwares no wires nothing!
It is accompanied by a device-to-device download facility which enables the Wifi to be operational. This player comes at a price of $300. The capacity is limited and not available in various sizes. 8Gb might be too less for the heavy music listeners and the battery life of this player is nothing to shout about.
Any which way this seems to be a good 'change' from the usual iPod video/Nano hasstle. Photo on the next page.. |

After the news in may that Steve Jobs and Mark Parker had joined hands to create a new product "Nike+iPod Sport Kit". This Kit is now available for pre-order on the apple site. You can expect it to reach you within 4-5 weeks, quite a long wait huh ?
At just under $30 this seems to be quite cheap, but the problem is that it works only with a selection of Nike shoes. Few of them being the new Nike Air Zoom Moire, Nike Shox Turbo OH, Air Max 180, Nike Shox Navina and Air Max 90.
The entire arrangement only consists of a small oval transreceiver which goes under your shoe sole and another transreceiver which connects to your Nano. You can track time and the distance you covered over it. Play your selection of songs from iTunes and much more. Check out the screenshots and photos of the Sport Kit. |

Simaproducts has just made your life simple, transferring data from Usb devices has just become a whole lot simple for us.
They have introduced a new product 'Hitch' through which you can connect two Usb devices and transfer data from one to the other. Although this will only be possible if the two gadgets are like, therefore you can't transfer from your photos from your Digi cam to your iPod. This will work with both Usb 1.1 and 2.0 interfaces. The device is DRM compliant and will be available for purchase in about a month for a nice price of $150. |
