For the first time Intel have spoken on what we should expect from Core 2 Extreme, the new gaming CPU with is going to be launched soon.
On the other side of the story, there is no word on power consumption on this new chip, but Intel brags about raw speed and more than a staggering 40% gain over the recently available 3.73GHz Extreme Edition 965.
If this is what Intel claims it is, then it would be extremely impressive and can really challenge the AMD processors.
