The blackberry killer - Motorola Q has now been launched in India as well. The blackberry market is not too big here, but it does have its own customers. The Moto Q has been launched for a decent price of Rs. 19,990 so its in the sub Rs. 20k range.
The phone comes with EDGE but no Wi-Fi for data connectivity along with the obvious GPRS. The phone offers you push-mail like the blackberrys in the market so, if you activate the service with your mobile phone provider you can take advantage of that.
The MOTO Q is pretty light and sleek with a nice big screen. The Q also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 5-way navigation key, QWERTY keypad, and support for MP3/MPEG-4 playback. You can also insert the free datacard given which is 512mb and use the phone like a multimedia device for audio/video playback. |
