The first breed of the clam shell Blackberry phones are here. The smart phones go by their code name - KickStart and SeoWolf and have already appeared on some tech/electronic sites on the internet. Expansys is one of them which has posted a pre-order page on these two devices. According to the sources deeply involved in the mobile phone industry we hear the BlackBerry 8210 and BlackBerry 8220 come with Wi-Fi connectivity (may only be for the 8210) and a 20 keypad SureType functionality just like the BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8110/8120 (in short the 81xx series). The 82xx series will be going on the same functionality as the previous BlackBerry phones. So the BlackBerry 8210 will come with GPS functionality and the 8220 will come with the oh-so-loved Wi-Fi. Both the phones will be with Quad-band support, bluetooth A2DP and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Going by the photos we have here, it comes with a camera but we are not sure whether its a 2-megapixel one or a 3.2 megapixel one. However it does not matter much. |
