The Dell E228WFP Widescreen LCD has been out in the asia pacific region for some time now, and it was time Dell made it available for our friends in Japan. This will start shipping in Japan from this week onwards for a price of close to ¥66,000.

To remind the others who are not yet familiar with this beauty of a screen, it is a 22inch Widescreen flat panel display, with a display resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels at 60 Hertz. The screen has a response time of 5ms which is pretty good with a brightness of 300cd/m2. The contrast ratio is 800:1 witha 160 degrees viewing angle.

The LCD measures 409.1 x 511.14 x 149.16 mm and weighs about 5 kgs alone without the stand and support.
