The Information and Broadcasting ministry has ruled the Axing of the Axe Effect deodorant advertisement too vulgar and indecent for viewing. The advertisement has been on air since a few weeks now and shows a man using the chocolate version of - The Axe Effect, Deodorant - which turns him into a chocolate man. As a result making him the most desirable object. Women go flocking by him biting him away and cherishing the taste of chocolate. The I&B ministry has now deemed this ad to be too vulgar and has taken steps in taking the advertisement off air from today itself. There have been quite a few instances where the ministry has stepped in to take such action. Lux Cozy , Gen-X and Amul Macho to name a few ads. |
