The Motorola i885 is a clamshell from Motorola to add to its iDEN enabled phones. The phone comes with great features like a 2 megapixel camera, video recorder, a mp3 player, and best of all 'Push to Talk' service. The feature where this phone stands out amongst it's other counterparts is the sound quality when the phone is kept on speaker. This pohne is for the tech freaks who will make good use of the country wide Walkie talkie service offered by their carrier. The Motorola i885 mobile phone is available for a price of $350 which is not that expensive. The downside for this phone is the looks. It looks a lot like the 20th century mobile phone and not something which has been released in 2006. It comes with a good mp3 player and a good battery life which can make optimum use of the features. You can store your audio files and other data on to the microSD card which can be expanded to 2gb in size. The 2 mega pixel camera comes with flash too. The battery of the i885 is close to 3 hours, and after the FCC approval the radiation emitted by the phone stands at about 1.21 watts per KG. ![]() |
