Page 1 of 2 Now coming to a home next to yours! Yes, the Samsung HL-S5679W is finally going to be available for all. After about 2 months from their announcement that they are going to start shipping the product, it's now available. Well, is it worth the wait ? The normal plama televisions which last for about 4-5 thousand hours this one is surely different. The HDTV light sources will last over 20,000 hours. It also has LED backlighting, and they say it helps for a quick startup. With a 1980 horizontal x 1080 vertical pixel count, Up to 4,000:1 contrast ratio, and the Samsung's Cinema Smooth light engine delivering crisp, High-Def resolution with high contrast and brightness, it surely looks like a beauty. It has tons of Video connections like, AV in, S-Video in, RF in, HDMI in, USB, and Monitor/sound out and component video i/p. For $4000 i am still not sure if this is worth it!
