Sharp does not seem to be taking a back seat in their new range of AQUOS LCD Plasma TVs. They have come out with 4-5 more of excellent but pretty expensive LCDs. The first we are going to have a look at is the Sharp AQUOS LC-37D62U. The LC-37D62U is a 37inch LCD Tv with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The LCD has a 16:9 aspect ratio with 1700:1 contrast. The screen has a display life of over 60,000 hours and a 176 degree viewing angle. The screen posseses a 450 cd/m2 brigtness measure along with 6ms response time. The LC-37D62U comes with 3 RCAs inputs at the back of the TV. It also comes with 2 HDMI i/ps, S-Video pin, and RCA Composite. The Sharp AQUOS LC-46D82U LCD TV is a 117cms screen i.e., 46 inches diagnol with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The contrast ratio is a bit higher than the LC-32D62U at 2000:1. The screen has a marginally better response time as well. The Sharp AQUOS LC-60C46U LCD TV is almost identical to the 46inch LCD with almost the same features. These LCDs will start shipping from May 2007, the price is still unknown and will be announced shortly by the company. |
