Dell has come out with slight modifications on these two recently launched LCD Monitors. Both of them are not widescreen, yes thats true. Now adays everyone wants a widescreen LCD but Dell refutes those claims and still continues their duty to make the non widescreen LCDs. The DELL SE177FP is a 17inch LCD which comes with a maximum display resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The SE197FP also comes with the same resolution but with a 19inch diagnol display area. The SE197FP has a 700:1 contrast ratio compared to the 500:1 contrast ratio of the 17inch Monitor. The price of the 17inch Dell SE177FP is $179 and the SE197FP is about $220. These are not too expensive, so definitely worth a look in our books.  |
