The 42inch Plasma TV from LG has been one of the hottest picks of last year. The TV costs around $1600 (based on prices in the US).

The LG 42PX3DCV comes with a 16:9 aspect ratio, with 10k:1 contrast. The plasma devliers 852 x 480p Resolution and capable of displaying upto 720p and 1080i TV scan lines. There is a HDMI interface too along with 2 composite i/ps, S-Video inputs, PC Audio in, and a RS232 serial interface. The TV has built-in speakers with 10W x 2 audio amplifier.

The TV comes with a removable stand and a 2 year warranty to go along with. It weighs over 66 pounds and measures close to 47.5" x 25.3" x 3.78". Overall this is not too bad, but i'll still stick to the Panasonic displays.
